Mission
Radiant Rural is committed to protecting and conserving the environment while improving access to education and health services for rural communities across Tanzania.
Vision
Radiant Rural envisions healthy and educated rural communities living in a safe, sustainable and well-protected environment across Tanzania.
What We Have Done So Far..
Radiant Rural supports Chui Daycare & Learning Centre, which provides early childhood development programmes, play spaces and toys for children, as well as learning facilities for children in Kinyangiri Village.
In addition, we have built playgrounds in Mnolo and Ishenga Villages, targeting children from disadvantaged communities.
In other developments, Radiant Rural has planted more than 3,000 trees in rural areas of Singida and Arusha regions affected by logging, farming and overgrazing, including degraded semi-arid land.
Radiant Rural also supports beekeeping projects and currently manages 40 beehives in Kinyangiri and Ishenga Villages.
What is Next?
We envision a world where educated and healthy rural communities live in a protected and well-conserved environment.
We are starting at our own scale in Kinyangiri, Mnolo and Ishenga Villages and are now expanding our projects to the nearby villages and Makuyuni.
Our long-term goal is to establish 17 daycare and learning centres across the 17 villages of Mkalama District, where we are based, creating more opportunities for young children and their communities.
